Sunday school started in our new church at Stackpool Road, Southville, Bristol on Sunday, 09 April 2017 immediately after Holy Communion Service at 12:00pm.
School organises a talent days for all the children from nursery to grade 11, on 11th February 2017. Children had an opportunity to learn and come forward with the word of God, songs and play musical instrument. Around 40 children were participated. It was a great and blessed experience for parents and children. All those who attended received a’ well done’ medal for attendance. During the year teacher prayer meeting planned &conducted most of the 4th Sundays after the worship service. The Sunday school is continuing to support the ‘’Snehatheeram project ‘’in India. This is a project of Trivandrum Kollam Diocese which takes care of the HIV patients and their dependents.
The donation from the Sunday school is used to sponsor the care for five children and the money to support this project is mainly from Sunday school offertory. This year Sunday school also supported Vasai girls hostel Mumbai with a donation. Mrs Jinie Sam continues to serve as the Sunday School Head teacher. Let us pray that our Lord Almighty will give strength and encouragement to all the teachers, office bearers and committee members to work for the glory HIS kingdom. Let us work together for the extension of HIS kingdom. We hope and pray that this spirit may continue in all our activities for the years to come. We express our gratitude to the Lord Almighty for leading throughout this year in all our programs and strengthening us.
